| The chart for this stained glass church window is 172 stitches wide by 457 stitches high. The work was done on 18-count aida cloth resulting in a finished work 9-1/2 inches wide by 25-1/3 inches high. Although the wall around the window is light in color, it appears dark because the photo from which this chart was made was taken with no lights turned on inside the church. This work contains 90 DMC colors. This chart consists of 18 pages and is recommended for the experienced stitcher. |

| The photo below shows the finished project before being framed. Work on this project was spread over about 18 months. The lady who stitched this usually has several projects underway at a time and rotates between them from time to time. The work in this picture is spread out on a table and will next be washed and pressed to remove the wrinkles, and stretched while being dried. As you can tell, the dark background beyond the window was not stitched. |
