Welcome to Charts-Is-Us
We create personalized Counted Cross-Stitch charts from photographs, magazine pictures, greeting cards, etc.
We can turn your favorite photo into a chart from which you can create your own personal work of art. You tell us
what size you want your finished needle work to be and the stitch count of the cloth on which you want to stitch it and
we will make the chart to fit. The picture which you provide for us to scan can be any size up to 8" by 10" or you
can e-mail us an image in digital format (JPG preferable), and we can include or
exclude what ever portion of the picture you want. We design our charts for DMC Embroidery floss (426 solid colors)
and the result can include as many of these colors as needed.
For cross-stitch we make
Full color charts, Sepia charts (10 brown shades), and Delft charts (9 blue shades), and we can provide
either rectangular or oval cropping for portraits. The largest chart size we can make at this time is 600
stitches wide by 600 stitches high.
Also, we are presently adding Anchor Cotton Floss (460 colors) so that we can use either DMC or Anchor colors (or a combination of both)
for cross-stitch. We will post a notice on our home page when this new feature is ready.
In addition, for needle-point or crewel we can make charts for DMC Tapestry wool
(460 colors), Paternayan Persian Yarn (418 colors), and Elsa Williams Tapestry Wool (234 colors).
